The Evansville Police Department took to social media to remind residents of a program called Sober Ride Indiana. This is a program for those out drinking to get a safe, free ride home on high-risk holidays and events. St. Patrick s Day certainly falls under that category. A lot of bars in the area will be providing several St. Patrick s Day specials and parties. While there s nothing wrong with going out, and partaking in these events, you want to make sure you aren t out drinking and driving afterwards and endangering the lives of others and yourself.
