been declared here in clark county and it is going to be a soaker in sin city. now in the las vegas metro we re talking about about an inch of rain or so. but in the mountains to the west, we re talking about 4 inches upwards of that potentially even 7 inches in some places. and all of that water has to go somewhere a flood watch in effect until monday also looking at a high wind warning 25, 35 miles per hour winds with gusts up to 60 miles per hour all this is going to be hitting later on in the day. as you can see lots of people still walking around in the las vegas strip and some people they say they re not too worried about it. take a listen. you know what s funny is yesterday it was raining and our plan to do a fried month free experience and we were going to tough it out and get through it and no we re not going to change our plans. we will be back later this week when it is nicer again. we have raincoats and hats and we re going keep trucking. here in las vegas area folks
