Right now at least 77 people are dead but that death toll has been climbing all night. Police say the truck driver was killed when he opened fire on a crowd and they returned fire. Authorities say the truck was filled with hand grenades and weapons. The attack came just hours after the french president announced the government would soon lift the state of emergency in place since last novembers terror attack in paris.
