The University of Fort Hare has launched an investigation into accusations of fraud and malfeasance after the signatures of 16 students were allegedly forged at an institutional student parliament sitting meant to prepare for student elections. The student representative council (SRC) elections had been scheduled to take place in October, but were put on hold after the claims surfaced.
