Shawn Miller, the curator at the aquatic and reptile center at the zoo, said the Amazon river turtle gets spoiled rotten when she s in her own tank behind the scenes, away from the 55,000-gallon Amazon River exhibit.  Onassis is in isolation because she s undergoing laser therapy to address some discoloration on her shell. She s mostly oblivious to the veterinarians while she munches on her favorites of bok choy and endives. She s also a fan of cilantro, part of a healthy diet designed to keep the zoo s elder stateswoman vibrant and active.
