quite understanding the issue, tony, clearly, but poking fun at it. and everyone saying hey, lay your hands off my internet, right? are you following some of these i-reports on snow and weather conditions? it s a favorite for you. because it s shaping up to be a white christmas in many parts of the states, as you know, tony, but also in europe as you mentioned. and take a look at these i-reports, just beautiful from our vantage point, especially the warm studio. this first one comes from germany where they received more than 6 inches in just a few hours monday afternoon. and look at this one of dogs playing in the snow and loving it in mammoth lake, california. the i-reporter says the snow banks were 6 feet high. and these bikes really need to be thawed out before they re going anywhere. look at that. those are in amsterdam where this i-reporter says they got 6 to 8 inches of snow. folks are just trapped in europe and can t get to where they re going for the holidays. it s just
what s the latest there, eric? reporter: well, tamron. they went through a blizzard on saturday. they had the dome collapse on sunday. here we are on tuesday, and the story is the fact that they re still cleaning up from the storm that ended saturday night. throughout the city you have snow banks like this one. this is a pretty small one compared to what s stacked up all throughout the twin cities. crews have been filling up dump trucks and shipping it out of town, and so they can get through the streets. they canceled school again because some of the streets were not passable for the school buses. they didn t want kids to sit outside in the bitter cold windchills. no records, though. this morning, 27 degrees below zero. we re more like six below zero. we are on the road to improvement. as we look forward here, we should be around 12 for a high temperature today. we won t go below zero tonight. tomorrow we re near 20. but the problem with tomorrow is the fact that snow is going to re
