They were fishing in 110 feet of water off the Boynton Beach area. Offshore Like last week, the bottom bite remains hot off of the Jensen Beach area. Anglers working depths from 60 to 120 feet are catching vermilion, lane and mutton snapper. The vermilion and lane are being taken on chicken rigs using squid or sardines while the muttons are mostly hitting grunt plugs on long leaders.

The 11-year-old angler was using a DOA lure. They also caught several ladyfish, jack crevalle and mangrove snapper on the trip. Offshore Using live goggle eyes or trolling ballyhoo, the dolphin bite off of the Jensen Beach area has been picking up with fish up to 15 pounds being caught. The wahoo bite has also been decent in the same areas with a 40-pounder caught on Tuesday on a live goggle eye.
