We were covering the story about the tree that fell this trailer and then this street, this is teak street in New Port Richey near the intersection of canton. This street was overcome by the water. I want to show what you we had to do to our vehicles over here. We were parked further down on this driveway. We had to get to high gr us how quickly this water can come in and the flash flooding comes in. And its like this on several streets across New Port Richey. So when youre driving around here, you see streets like this. Stop and turn around. We cant tell you enough. Dont be one of the people being rescued on us19 when theres high water. You probably getting gusts stw 25 to say 30 miles per hour. And the roads are wet. And the ground is saturated. That may be causing some trees to come down. Weve had Flood Warnings and i imagine were going to see lot more of those throughout day today. Because this moisture channel, this goes a t way out into the gulf, its not moving much. So it just continues to rain at the heavy rain out of metro area for the time being. I know it had to go somewhere in entrepreneurs now south and east. Duette myakka head. Let me tell you, in arcadia now getting into the act. You get into some heavier thunderstorms, and the winds are gusting 25 to 30 Miles Per Hour. So dont be surprised at some tree limbs are coming down with some of these heftier thunderstorms. Also up into polk county we go 60 from brandon to bartow and over to the lake wales area as well.
