so the broad purpose is to try to generate a kind of maybe a better informed more reflective conversation nationally about tax policy and fiscal policy and the site does seem to be generating a fair bit of attention insofar it does that, it may further that aim that we have to encourage a broad, national dialogue on what tax policy is for, what fiscal policy is for. the narrower aim is a little bit more sort of snazy sounding. a little takes a little bit more elaboration. here s an attempt. so our impression in conversations with well to do americans who have benefited by the tax cuts and conversations among ourselves and our peers is that some people, it seems to be at least to us, some people who object to the extension of the bush era tax cuts during the time of mounting concern over the deficits, insofar as people have concerns or objections to
