Smyrna, TN - Smyrna Police were dispatched to the campus of Motlow State Community College near the North Rutherford YMCA on Wednesday, after being told there was possibly an armed subject on the school grounds. As a result of the call, the school was placed on lockdown as multiple agencies responded.
When police arrived on the campus and quickly met with Motlow security, they moved in to search the premises. During a thorough search of the property, police could not locate any individual .

This individual was reportedly seen attempting to enter residences at Gregory Mills Condos by checking for unlocked sliding glass back doors. The incident occurred around 4:00 in the morning, and so far, there have been no reports of the suspect entering any homes. The Smyrna Police Department continues to search for a woman who is wanted for questioning for her possible involvement in a drug case. Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating Leia Strand, pictured above, in regards to a drug overdose in Smyrna.
