Local authorities are searching for a man who reportedly held a woman at knifepoint and robbed her on Smuggler Mountain Road Monday morning, according to a Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The aim was to circumnavigate the mountains encircling the towns of Aspen and Snowmass, stitching the ride together by connecting a succession of different single-tracks into one contiguous loop.
