PIGEON FORGE — A free event aimed at helping those on the autism spectrum and their loved ones and supporters returns for a second year on Saturday, March 9.
SEVIERVILLE â A local non-profit with a mission to support those with autism sent out copies of a book about autism to every school and library in the county this week in celebration of Autism Awareness Month.
âCan I Tell You About Autismâ by Jude Welton is a guide for teachers, caregivers and professionals to use in explaining autism from a kids point of view. It was gifted by the Smoky Mountain Autism Success Hub (SMASH) to be used as a resource for people to understand how to better interact with children with autism.
