Ball Janik in Orlando recently hired three brand new lawyers who had to be sworn in to The Florida Bar in various ways due to the pandemic.
Kasey Joyce was sworn in via video chat in her home during the Supreme Court’s December Virtual Induction Ceremony, presided over by Chief Justice Charles Canady.
Morgan Lester was sworn in by Judge John E. Jordan.
“This is a great day for each of you as inductees and it is a great day for your families and your friends and everyone that helped you overcome the challenges and difficulties you faced along the way to this happy occasion,” Chief Justice Canady said at the virtual ceremony. “The special challenge brought on by the pandemic for this group of inductees were indeed extraordinary. We are all aware of that.”
