Uddhav Thackeray Vs Eknath Shinde: Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday made a scathing attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, calling him a traitor and someone who backstabbed him. The Shiv Sena chief made these remarks while addressing his faction’s mega Dussehra rally at the historic Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during his Dussehra rally today hit back at Uddhav Thackeray for his Katappa remark, saying that even Katappa had self-respect and did not have double standards.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his predecessor Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday bitterly traded charges and used caustic terms like "traitors" and "betrayer" as Shiv Sena groups headed by them held Dussehra rallies in Mumbai.
Shinde asserted his rebellion was not an act of betrayal , but a revolt and asked Uddhav Thackeray to kneel down at party founder Bal Thackeray s memorial and apologise for going against his ideals and aligning with the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
