The Smiling Goat Closes, Reopening with New Concept
ZANESVILLE, OH – After 11 years The Smiling Goat Saloon in Zanesville is closing its doors on the bar scene and will be reopening in the near future as La Cabra Craft Tacos.
Owners Darren and Kristy Tigner wanted to introduce food into their business and decided jumping head first into it was the best way to do so. One of their biggest focuses with the new restaurant is going to be their takeout, curbside pickup, and online ordering.
“It’s a really fun exciting concept. So it’s going to be a modern take on craft tacos. It’s going to be a lot of fresh foods, a lot of things made in house. We did extensive research going all over the country trying to find out really what we wanted this to be and we’re very fortunate to work with an amazing chef Nathan Nolan. He’s coming in and he’s got an amazing amount of experience. And we’re really excited to deliver a lot of high class experiences to folks,” Ow
