It looks like the Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit will have some new leadership. Yesterday, Sonoma County Supervisor David Rabbitt was selected to lead the 12-member body for the North Bay’s rail line. Rabbitt, who has been a SMART director for eight years, was chosen in a 10-0 vote. He will have a two-year term as chair. Officials also voted to appoint Barbara Pahre for another term as vice chair.
