CECC reports 89 cases, including 10 local ones

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) yesterday reported 10 local and 79 imported cases of COVID-19, and announced stricter rules on toasting at wedding banquets. Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung (陳時中), who heads the center, said the imported cases include 26 people who tested positive upon arrival at the airport on Monday, and 53 who tested positive during or upon ending quarantine. Smart City Summit doubles in size, Kaohsiung co-hosts

This year’s Smart City Summit and Expo (SCSE) is scheduled to be held in Taipei from Tuesday to Friday, and in Kaohsiung from Thursday to Saturday, with twice as many exhibits as last year, organizers said. A total of 450 exhibitors are to showcase their innovations in nearly 1,500 booths, said the Taiwan Smart City Solutions Alliance, one of the organizers.
