The City of Cypress recently created a $750,000 Cypress Small Business Resiliency Grant Program to provide $5,000 grants to 150 businesses most vulnerable to COVID-19 impacts, specifically businesses that have been forced to temporarily close or limit operations as a result of the pandemic.
Grant applications will be available online from December 29, 2020 through January 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at https://www.cypressca.org/business/small-business-resiliency-grant-program.
Businesses that did not previously receive a CARES Act grant will be given priority for participation in the Cypress Small Business Resiliency Grant Program, although those that received a CARES Act grant are still eligible. Applicants must operate in a commercial, office or industrially zoned area in Cypress and cannot be a home-based business.
