An East Tennessee family started baking cookies for fun in their kitchen during the pandemic. Stephanie and Brandon Candler, and their daughters thought they’d share the cookies with their friends and family. But now they are pairing up with charities to share their sweets.
On Sunday, the family had their Busy B’s Bake Shop mobile cart at Geezer’s Brewery in Knoxville for a fundraiser to benefit the Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee. For every beer purchased, customers received a free cookie. Geezer’s gave $1 form each beer purchased to the rescue. Patrons could also purchase extra Busy B’s Cookies.
