the last 20 years. these quote unquote social issues have always been economic issues. what was slavery? but was discrimination and segregation? by the wealthy in order to concentrate wealth and, frankly, get working middle class white people to enforce unfair economic system as a racial bargaining tool. side of their color instead of your class. it is a sort of racial bargain that i am seeing come apart at the seams across the country. the inequality era lumber zone as people and communities have been, and this is a story we talk about gas, coming together, saying there is more that unites us then divides us. these problems in our community, water that is polluted, air that is polluted, schools fund, housing that is out of date or unaffordable. these are problems that are common solutions. we can only really take on
"SLUMBER ZONE" – a wonderful wacky world of REM sleep.A playful mashup of dreams, daydreams & fantasies directed and choreographed by Faith Jensen-Ismay created with the original cast in 2018 using original dreams of the dancers, daydreams of children, and fantasies that bombard our cinema and enter our brains to create fascinating REM sleep. This year, Slumber Zone will be performed by a new cast - Core Group - an affiliate of Mojalet Dance Collective.
