Members of the homesless community in Slough have been offered coronavirus vaccinations from a mobile unit on the High Street. The jabs were offered by homelessness charity Slough Outreach who teamed up with the Health and Wellbeing Slough partnership. The jabs were offered to those living on the streets or in emergency accommodation. Lateral flow tests were also offered to members of the community who may be carrying the virus. Founder of Slough Outreach Shin Dhother said: Slough Outreach responds to the needs our most vulnerable and less fortunate in the community. Volunteers deliver daily food parcels containing hot food, snacks and essentials kindly donated by the community. We also hold daily Outreach sessions (soup kitchen) on the streets in Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead.
