Two popular Charleston Town Center Mall restaurants closed on April 20, 2024 without any advance notice to employees. The Tidewater Grill and The Chop House have occupied space at the mall for decades. The Tidewater has been at the Court Street entrance to the mall for 39 years and The Chop House has been at the Clendenin Street entrance across from the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center for over two decades.
