The 74th Annual Miss Sleepy Eye Coronation will take place on Sunday, March 14. The Miss Sleepy Eye Ambassador Organization said due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, a limited number of tickets were pre-sold, and there will be no general admission at the door. Masks/face coverings are require for those who attend.
The crowning of the new Miss Sleepy Eye Royalty will be posted on the Miss Sleepy Eye Facebook page.

SLEEPY EYE Elmer J. Fischer, Jr., 76, of Sleepy Eye, formerly of New Ulm, died on January 9, 2021, at Sleepy Eye Medical Center.
Arrangements are pending with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.

SLEEPY EYE Ilene Lucille Wilson, 83, of Sleepy Eye died on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, at Sleepy Eye Medical Center.
A private interment will take place in Lincoln, NE at a later date.
Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye (www.sturmfh.com).
