Kyle police have filed capital murder charges against a 47-year-old man who they have accused of killing two people in 2015.
Chief Jeff Barnett said this was the only unsolved murder case in Kyle in the last 10 years.
In June 2015, Kyle police responded to a home in the 800 block of South Sledge Street, near Interstate 35, after a relative told police they had not been able to reach the homeowner, Barnett said.
When police got no answer from knocks at the door, they forcibly entered the home and found the bodies of James Wright, 45, and Tina Combs, 44. Wright owned the home, and Combs was believed to have been a guest, Barnett said.
