Ron Timehin, who focuses on city landscapes, travel and commercial work, took the opportunity when his work quietened down to delve into astrophotography, which he’d had a long-standing desire to do. The British Astronomical Association, which represents hobbyists, has reported a huge surge in interest in stargazing during the coronavirus restrictions with more people contacting them and visiting the organisation’s YouTube channel. Sales of telescopes have also gone up.
