The stay-at-home order lifted last week, but with heavy wind and rain happening at the same time, some businesses delayed outdoor operations until this weekend.
Big Sky Cafe owner, Greg Holt, says the re-opening of outdoor dining offers a unique connection with his customers. It sure helps people like me who have been doing the same thing their whole life, go back to being able to do what they know well, Holt said.
The County of San Luis Obispo is currently in the purple tier status, which allows for operations like outdoor dining, hair salons, and barber shops to re-open again.
