Small Plane Crashes in LaGrange, Pilot uninjured Written by Peter Carey
Yesterday, December 27, 2020, at approximately 3:20 p.m., the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks responded to a plane crash in a wooded area in the town of Lagrange.
The crash involved a single engine Cessna airplane that appears to have had engine failure. The plane crashed alongside Gidley Road just a few miles from the Sky Acres Airport. The female pilot was able to get out of the plane and was uninjured in the incident.
The Lagrange Fire Department and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Police also responded to the scene to render aid.
