Skipton Law Courts A DRIVER stopped on suspicion of having no insurance tested positive for drugs, heard Skipton Magistrates Court. Ryan Troake, 26, was stopped by police in Rombalds Drive Skipton, on July 18, last year, by officers who believed he was uninsured, the court heard on Friday. He provided a positive roadside drugs wipe test and was taken to the police station for a blood test which later revealed he had seven microgrammes of delta- 9- Tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis) in one litre of blood, the limit is two. Troake, of Rombalds Drive, Skipton, admitted drugs driving. He was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £226 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £34.
