Monogram Refrigeration adds 5th product line to Selmer plant
SELMER – GE Appliances is bringing jobs to McNairy County from Mexico.
Corporation executives were at Monogram Refrigeration in Selmer on Tuesday to officially announce a $5 million investment that will bring 33 jobs to the plant from Mexico. Tennessee has been a great partner, it s been a great place to do business, said Bill Good, Vice President of Manufacturing at a press conference on Tuesday. As we continue to grow as a business, we are looking forward to an on growing partnership with the state of Tennessee.
The jobs are coming to Selmer as the plant begins production of a new product, vertical air conditioning units called Zoneline that are typically used in hotels and apartment complexes.
