CALGARY - Men's World Cup downhill ski races are tentatively scheduled to return to Lake Louise, Alta., this year and continue over 30 years of racing there.

National Ski Team member Trevor Philp was injured in a fall during today's FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup race in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. Trevor was assisted off the mountain by ski patrol.  He has a lower leg injury that will require him to return to Canada for further evaluation and recovery plan.  He is okay and in good spirits given the circumstances, but is unlikely to compete at the upcoming world championships. (January 25, 2023) – Frédérique Turgeon (Candiac, QC) and Alexis Guimond, Gatineau (QC) both captured bronze medals in the downhill at today’s FIS Para Alpine World Championships in Espot, Spain.
