of the republicans that first came out supporting donald trump so you re lumping me in with the witch-hunt of donald trump. it s an interesting theory, a good public relations argument. but, anyone causally reading this indictment against him, and it s publicly available, will see that this is anything but a witch-hunt. and this is anything but just some bad management of money during a campaign. if it s true that these campaign funds were used for such personal expenses as ski trips and dinners and drinks and fun that were completely unrelated to the campaign, and they are if it s a family vacation, that s not part of your campaign. i m sure joe can tell us all about that, because he had to campaign at one point. and anyone who s been involved in the campaign can know there s a bright line between your personal family expenses and vacations and fun and campaign-related expenses. and this one appears to be a bright line. yeah, willie, you never come close to that line for two things,
if there s a bad story about them, then he s frustrated with them. that s entirely kind of how his attitude toward his adult children is shaped. so when don junior had this fiasco that dominated coverage for weeks and weeks and weeks, trump was understandably very frustrated. another anecdote. you said on ski trips when they race down the mountain, trump would jab at his children with a pole to get ahead of them. his favorite maxim was don t trust anyone, and he liked to test his children by asking whether they trusted him. if they said yes, they were reprimanded. i mean they don t trust anything, anyone? i mean well, including their own father. and trump taught them as young children not to trust each other, not to trust is it hbo succession. our story is called succession. there is kind of darwin pragydy credit that runs through up to today. do you remember he said this on 60 minutes ?
