Welcome to The Quad. I’m Michael Russo, The Breeze’s executive editor, and we’re glad you’re here. There’s no time like the present, so let’s get into this week’s highlights:
As Halloween quickly approaches, downtown Harrisonburg celebrated with Skeleton Fest. The event attracted nearly 8,000 people and had many events including costume contests, trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting contests and more.
Someone has apparently taken the head off of the skeleton display that stands in front of the Burnham & Flower Insurance Group building on the Kalamazoo Mall. The Kalamazoo State Theatre's Bob Marley Skeleton had his skull and microphone stolen recently as well.
