The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center of Old Saybrook is launching a new virtual Katharine Hepburn Museum exhibit titled “Katharine Hepburn: Unintentional Trailblazer.”
This project features items from the Kate’s collection of memorabilia and several on-loan items, including Hepburn home movies that are held at the University of Hartford Archives and Special Collections.
A live panel discussion related to the virtual exhibit will be hosted by Ann Nyberg at 2 p.m. Sunday on the Kate’s YouTube channel. This free event is an in-depth discussion and analysis of Hepburn’s grasp on the power of her appearance. Panelists include Jean Druesedow, curator of the exhibit “Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen,” and Director Emerita of the Kent State University Museum; and Judy Samelson, former editor of Playbill magazine and an honorary member of the Kate’s board of trustees.
