The unanimous judgment on Kashmir was the opinion of five judges and people can differ, Justice (Retd) SK Kaul, who was part of the constitution bench that delivered the verdict, told NDTV today.

The Nagaland government has informed the Supreme Court that municipal elections in the state, with a one-third quota for women, will be completed before April 30, 2024. The Supreme Court bench acknowledged the passing of the Nagaland Municipal Bill 2023, and the state government indicated that one month would be required to frame relevant rules under the newly passed law.
