Let me start off by saying this: When it comes to stadium food, I m basically a brats and metts kind of guy. I like hot dogs, too. All hot dogs. Even bad ones. So when I went to a media food tasting event at TQL Stadium late Friday morning, I was surprised to see banquet tables overflowing with offerings such as pork belly sandwiches, poke bowls, and brisket-topped nachos.
Well, not that surprised. After all, the food program at TQL is run by Chef George Zappas, the former executive chef of Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, where he oversaw Orchids, as well as all in-room dining, banquets, and catering events.

A stoic man attempts to fend off the January cold, and people just arenât willing to let the image of him go quite yet. The Inauguration Day photo of Senator Bernie Sanders bundled up and bemittened has become a source of inspiration for many, including Diane Brewster, a College Hill crafter who knitted a doppelganger pair as a quick way to benefit Kindervelt #16, of which sheâs a member. Her husband, Bob Brewster, willingly reprised Sandersâs role in a photo to showcase the mittens in their best light.
Bill Brewster models his wife Dianeâs craftwork a la Bernie Sanders.
