STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Schools can treat their students to a virtual meet-and-greet with fuzzy, feathered, or slithering animals as part of Six Flags Great Adventure’s new virtual animal education program.
The program, Cyber Safari, was launched by the Jackson, N.J., theme park to meet the needs of virtual and in-person learning during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and beyond.
Cyber Safari was created by Six Flags’ award-winning education team and in-house, state-certified teachers. It centers on a new series of free web videos that teach students about adaptions, conservation, evolution and genetics.
