Overtime, 2 to 3 hours at the end of a shift but this is raising concerns about fatigue. The latest count shows Police Staffing down 221 sworn officers from full strength. Officers are going to be asked additional 2, or 3 hours, at the end of the shifts f there arent enough volunteers, mandatory overtime will be required. It doesnt sit well with the Police Officer association. Officers are involved in a voluntary program to fill the holes. Now, this mandatory overtime is another sign the city council failed to address the problems to keep our neighborhoods unsafe.
