The Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) presented the Palestine Humanitarian Fund 2021 amounting to BND67,250 from 838 donors to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) yesterday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin received the donation from MKM President Mohd Yusof bin Shaik Abdul Halim.
Permanent Secretary (Community and Culture) at the MCYS Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Cultural) at the MCYS Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah were also present.
The Palestine Humanitarian Fund 2021 was launched on May 26 and will continue until August 23. The fund serves as a platform for the public to make contributions to ease the burden of Palestinians.
