Supervisor peskin thank you, ms. Major. Before we introduce Shannon Ferguson from the Planning Department, i would like to be listed as cosponsor of this landmark designation. The case report was really a pleasure to read and very well done. And very edifying and of course, speaks to terrible parts of our American History and San Francisco history relative, not only to executive order 9066, but acts of local governments, including our s
Of Chinese Hospital . Of Chinese Hospital. Now we have had the hearing we hope that gives it more traction to move forward. I understand there is leadership change at dph and a bit of turnover and we have gone through a transition period. Respectfully, as you said we had this conversation with doctor garcia. I know that we made some serious progress with dignity, and that got paused because of change in leadership over there. We have gone through a change in leadership in a couple of different places. I want to say myself and supervisor peskin want to invite to sit down. We want to move to get this done. That would be very helpful. We look forward to participating. I want to say for the record. Can you speak a little bit about the kent field. I will ask the chair to continue this so we can come back to say where we are in terms of numbers of subacute. We want to hold the department accountable and ask the Hospital Council to step up so we can come back with concrete numbers. We are con

819 lombard is actually a perfect example. Part of what sparked that project and part of the benefit was the additional of three adus. So while on the one hand were trying to incentavise the building of new somewhat Affordable Housing, we are ending up actually losing existing Affordable Housing. And so part of what i think the community and the supervisor is trying to do is to create some impediments, where bad actors are disincentive vised. Disincent vised. And a some point that tenant is going to be able to come back, there is a financial disincentive for them to keep that unit open as we have taken care of that family for six months or a year or year and a half. And, yes, it is a policy choice because the pie is getting a little bit smaller. There is no question about that. And that means that some folks are waiting longer in line. But it also means that we are saying that that rentcontrolled unit is going to remain a rentcontrolled unit at its previous rent. There are legitimate r
[ ] i just wanted to say a few words. One is to the parents and to all of the kids. Thank you for supporting this program and for trusting us to create a Soccer Program in the bayview. Soccer is the worlds game, and everybody plays, but in the united states, this is a sport that struggles with access for certain communities. I coached basketball in a coached football for years, it is the same thing. It is about motivating kids and keeping them together, and giving them new opportunities. When the kids came out, they had no idea really what the game was. Only one or two of them had played soccer before. We gave the kids very simple lessons every day and made sure that they had fun while they were doing it, and you really could see them evolve into a team over the course of the season. I think this is a great opportunity to be part of the community and be part of programs like this. I get to run around with my other teammates and pass the ball. This is new to me. Ive always played basket
