GUWAHATI: Even as the final phase of the Assam Assembly poll is still to go, the Congress-led Mahajoot is in a celebratory mood for what they say sure win for them.
Leaders of the Congress, AIUDF, Anchalik Gana Mancha, CPI, CPI-M, CMI-ML, Jimochayan (Deori) People s Party and the Rashtriya Janata Dal were present at a joint press meet in Guwahati on Sunday.
Addressing the media, AICC s Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) in-charge Jitendra Singh said, We ve done well in the first and second phases of the poll. We re going to do well in the third phase as well.
