Asma Khalid Rajput, a final year MBBS student, was found dead at her residence at the Sita Town road in Dadu on January 8. The police revealed she shot herself. Her family said she was mentally pressurised into doing so. Asma s death sparked outrage on social media. People demanded the perpetrators be arrested as soon as possible and called out the police for their negligence. This stress and emotional torture was due to blackmailing and harassment that Asmat faced. According to media reports, two suspects namely shaman and Lukmeer solangi were involved in her case.
