called pack up and said the president is going to fire you. and pack thought i m going to eare zine with dignity, no one will know about it then. but now he s talking to the judiciary committee they do know exactly why it happened. because the president was fixing to fire him, and why? because he wouldn t support it lie of election fraud in georgia, which he investigated and found no evidence of. yeah. we can hear you very well. we can t see you well so we re going to stick with it because what we need most is the information you ll provide, harry. you point out a president can fire a u.s. attorney for any reason or no reason at all. but what about a refusal to lie about an election? this is for harry. yeah, so thanks for that. you know, i was a u.s. attorney and i got the sack eventually. and really, you know, he s not going to try to challenge it, but theoretically, don, you couldn t fire him because you didn t like his race. and this is protected speech. you say to him because y
government employees, they were asked it lie on behalf of the administration concerning the infection rates of people who are illegally entering at the southern border. the migrants children taken to fort bliss. we have a problem in texas with these same individuals. you don t know if they are tested. these two said the infection rate is worse than being reported in the media. when they came to the end of their time working with these kids they were asked to sign off on a happy little picture of what was really happening there. infection rates were out of control and people are getting sick. it was not being managed. judge, this is what angers me so much. the government right now is trying to cast dispersions on
is completely unprecedented. i mean, we had more than 100 consecutive days of nightly demonstrations downtown and across the city. portland has a more active activist community and a sustained legacy of protests. and so i think here it has been able to sustain itself longer. and they are the stepping stone for a larger conversation and i think having the sustained protests have allowed people like myself, political leaders that want to do work or even community leaders or members to sustain the pressure necessary to make race an issue that is continued to talk about and actually dealt with. but there are many times too when some of these protestors and demonstrators would break the windows of a local small business and do it over and over again. what was it like in the worst of it? a nightmare. i won t lie. they were looting businesses. that was the truth.
