After studying options, Catholic Youth Organization has decided to hold its annual fall fundraising gala online. The event is set for Tuesday, Oct. 19.
Changing plans for the much-anticipated Catholic social bash was difficult, Sister Krista von Borstel told supporters at the end of June.
“Higher forecasted profitability, lower resource allocation for event setup and implementation, alignment with current industry norms and trends, elimination of event risk and the ability to move forward today with concrete planning are key factors driving this decision,” said Sister Krista, a Sister of St. Mary of Oregon.
CYO cross-country running begins
The outdoor sport, possible during a pandemic, sparks high devotion Isaac Forquer, chairman of the CYO track and cross-country running commission, talks with athletes from Holy Trinity School in Beaverton. Isaac Forquer, chairman of the Catholic Youth Organization track and cross-country running commission, erred slightly on his clockwork. In early February, he proudly slated CYOs first ever cross-country time trials and practice for 5-7 p.m., with batches of kids coming every 15 minutes or so to keep good distance.
