Late last week the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published a trademark filing from Apple that extends the rights to their trademark Siri. This means that Apple is going to extend the reach of Siri not previously protected under their existing trademark. While Siri is working with HomeKit, their new trademark covers more devices it s protected for.
