NEW DELHI: Sensing an opportunity in Covid-19 pandemic adversity, the Accor Group is looking at growing its presence in India at a faster rate than planned earlier. The France-based hospitality major currently has 51 properties in India and 30 more are slated to open in the next five years. But given the blow Covid has dealt to hospitality, it now expects several standalone small hotels in the country to offer themselves to align themselves with big players to survive.
