The Tasmanian Breath of Fresh Air (BOFA) Film Festival is proudly Tasmania’s film festival. BOFA was the first major Australian film festival to go online in 2020 and in 2021 we went online again reaching film lovers nation-wide from 3 – 30 May.
This year we invited short filmmakers to explore what it means to be Tasmanian. What is unique and specific about Tasmanian culture? What can only happen here on this island?
Nine short list selected films have been chosen by the five judges. They can be seen at https://breath-of-fresh-air.com.au/films/stories-of-tasmania/. Viewers Australia-wide have been offered the chance to screen the nine selected short films and vote for their favourites.
