Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) has entered into a strategic collaboration with China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) to explore opportunities to drive growth and innovation across the energy value chain.
Under a Heads of Agreement signed between Total Energies and Sinopec, both the parties will work together to develop a sustainable aviation fuel production unit at Sinopec’s refinery in China. On completion, the project is expected to produce 230,000 tons of SAF annually.
