S. iraqi combat near mosul. The Kurdish News Agency reports an american and iraq warplanes began hours ago bombing strongholds near the dam which blocks the tigris river north of the city. Isis captured that earlier this month and told iraqi and Peshmerga Forces plan to follow up air strikes with a ground assault. Joining us now from baghdad cnns jomana.
