QUITMAN, Ga. (WALB) - 12 Southwest Georgia teams are still vying for a spot in Atlanta for the state championship.
This week, all but two of those teams will be on the road for the quarterfinals.
Brooks County, one of the lucky ones, will get to host this Friday night.
Spirits are high in Quitman as the Trojans are playing in a quarterfinal for the second straight year.

OCILLA, Ga. (WALB) - In Single-A Public the Irwin County Indians are in pursuit of back-to-back state titles.
And for the first time this postseason, the Indians will be away from home on Friday night.
Head Coach Casey Soliday and company will be in Commerce, taking on the Tigers for just the third time.
The Indians are unbeaten in this series and they need to keep it that way to reach Atlanta.
