Messenger KUWAIT CITY, May 10: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mustafa Reda addressed the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs Abdulaziz Shuaib regarding the reopening of private nurseries and schools for people with special needs, reports Al-Qabas daily. In the letter, Dr. Reda explained that the resumption of nurseries is the prerogative of the Cabinet’s COVID-19 Emergency Committee. In case the approval for the opening of activities is received, health requirements must be adhered to. He highlighted the set requirements for the resumption of activities for students with special needs, starting with following the school guidelines, obtaining the parents’ pledge to report any COVID-19 infections within the family and among relatives without bringing the child, and the need for the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Public Authority for Disabled Affairs and owners of nurseries to develop and provide a monitoring mechanism to ensure compliance with health r
